About the Role

Accoravillage is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cement Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure successful cementing jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and Mentor Personnel: Supervise and guide a team of cementing specialists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to execute cementing jobs safely and efficiently.
  • Execute Cementing Jobs: Oversee the execution of cementing jobs, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to design and client specifications.
  • Ensure Efficient Operations: Manage day-to-day operations to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with clients, internal stakeholders, and other departments to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to, and that all personnel are trained and equipped to work safely.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports on cementing jobs, including end-of-job reports, maintenance reports, and incident reports.
  • Develop and Maintain Procedures: Develop and maintain procedures to ensure high levels of service and quality.
  • Supervise Crews: Supervise crews on primary, remedial, and pump jobs to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Train and Mentor: Train and mentor current and aspiring supervisors to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to execute cementing jobs safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as an oil and gas cementing supervisor and in operating pumpers.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others.
  • Driver's License: Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg., bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
  • Work Schedule: Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions, and be on call 24 hours on a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule.
  • Education: Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer Skills: Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and other software, as required.
  • Report Writing: Experience in the completion of reports.
  • Customer Service: Experience in dealing with customers and dispatch.
  • Cementing Job Design: Understanding of cementing job design and client specifications.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Able to perform all regular maintenance on equipment.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Team Player: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to change.
  • Customer Focus: Team player and customer service focused.
  • Initiative: Demonstrated initiative and results orientated.
