Cement Supervisor Job Summary

Magnum Cementing Services is seeking a highly skilled Cement Supervisor to join our team. As a Cement Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure successful cementing jobs. You will work closely with the Station Manager to maintain operation and service standards and assist in leadership of the Station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure timely arrival at location.
  • Execute successful cementing jobs according to design and client specifications.
  • Ensure efficient handling of day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure critical tasks are completed on every cementing job, including measuring density, collecting samples, and blowing down units.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments.
  • Work with station management to maintain operation and service standards.
  • Evaluate Bulk Drivers and Operators on weekly maintenance requirements.
  • Adhere to and enforce company Safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.
  • Prepare end of well, end of month, incident, and maintenance reports.
Requirements
  • Experience as an oil and gas cementing supervisor and in operating pumpers.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others.
  • Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
  • Able to work outdoors for extended periods and in congested or confined areas.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the completion of reports and dealing with customers and dispatch.
  • Understanding of cementing job design and client specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with company policies and safety.
  • Able to perform calculations required to execute a cement job.
