Seeking experienced dispatcher for day-shift position in Milton, Ontario, transporting refrigerated products across the province.

We are a leading transportation company in Ontario, seeking a skilled dispatcher to join our team. As a dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of refrigerated products across the province, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Entering new orders into our system, ensuring accurate data entry
  • Tracking drivers using GPS to monitor deliveries and provide updates to customers
  • Communicating with brokers, drivers, and customers to ensure successful delivery and receipt of goods
  • Coordinating and expediting rush-orders and regular shipments
  • Reviewing delivery schedules and resolving logistical issues that arise
  • Ensuring safety procedures and company policies are being followed by drivers
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced dispatching role
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience with Courier Complete and Fleet Complete is an asset
  • Computer literate and comfortable using MS Office
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle to commute to work
