Job Title: Head Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Dispatcher to join our team at Canadian Flatbeds Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient dispatch plans to meet customer needs
  • Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure timely and safe transportation of goods
  • Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement
  • Train and supervise dispatchers and other team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Resolve work-related problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in transportation or logistics an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of dispatch management software and Microsoft Office applications
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 3-4 people. They will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
