About the Role

The Supervisor, General Radiography & CT will oversee the team to ensure the department operates effectively and efficiently, prioritizing patient care and exceptional image quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and distribute workload among staff to ensure safe and efficient delivery of patient care
  • Implement methods to ensure optimum imaging quality and quantity of exams
  • Lead, coach, and mentor staff to foster a positive atmosphere and enhance staff knowledge
  • Ensure efficient and consistent service delivery, utilizing resources effectively
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to develop and implement staff recruitment and retention strategies
  • Develop and communicate performance measures in keeping with relevant professional and/or hospital standards
  • Ensure staff and departmental compliance with Hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Completion of a recognized medical imaging entry to practice program (e.g. Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance, Sonography)
  • Completion of CAMRT certification exam
  • Completion or currently working towards a Master's degree in a relevant program
  • Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) program for health care providers
  • Registration with CMRITO
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working as certified Technologist in a medical imaging environment
