SOMMAIRE

Sous la supervision de la direction de la réception, le(la) préposé(e) à la réception a pour fonction d'accomplir les tâches directement liées au séjour de la clientèle telles que réserver les chambres, accueillir les clients à leur arriver et durant le séjour, donner des renseignements sur l'établissement et ses services ainsi que sur les attraits touristiques de la région, faire la vente et assurer la coordination des différents services de l'établissement.

PRINCIPALES TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS

·Effectuer les réservations;

·Effectuer les activités reliées à l'inscription de la clientèle;

·Offrir des services à la clientèle;

·Assurer le suivi administratif;

·Effectuer les activités reliées au départ de la clientèle;

·Veiller à la satisfaction de la clientèle;

·Compenser, au besoin, lors de la gestion de plainte;

·Veiller à la sécurité des biens et des personnes;

·Accomplir toutes autres tâches connexes.

QUALIFICATIONS ET EXIGENCES

·Avoir un intérêt marqué pour le service à la clientèle;

·Aptitudes pour la vente;

·Posséder des attitudes et comportement professionnels (autonomie, dynamisme, entregent, honnêteté, polyvalence, sens de l'initiative, sens de l'organisation, etc.) ;

·Bilinguisme essentiel (français et anglais);

·Connaissance de d'autres langues (un atout);

·Capacité à travailler sous un horaire variable (jour, soir, nuit, fin de semaine et jours fériés);

·Capacité à effectuer des transactions monétaires;

·Bonne connaissance de la région de Québec et des points d'intérêt touristique;

·Connaissance des logiciels de gestion hôtelière tel Opéra PMS v5.6;

·Être capable de gérer plusieurs priorités;

·Excellentes habiletés pour la communication;

·Avoir une bonne tolérance au stress.
