Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Care Paramedic to join our team. As an Advanced Care Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members, and maintaining and enhancing your competencies through ongoing professional development.

About the Opportunity: Reporting to the Health Services Manager, you will be assigned tasks by the Clinical Leader and work in collaboration with other team members to meet patient care needs. You will support patient care by practicing within the Advanced Care Paramedic scope of practice and demonstrating competencies in the provision of care.

About You: We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Grade XII required
  • Registered and licensed with the College of Paramedics of Nova Scotia (CPNS) required
  • One (1) year of experience working as an Advanced Care Paramedic an asset
  • Current BLS (HCP) Certification required
  • Previous work experience in a hospital setting or emergency care preferred
  • Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, patient assessment, and telecommunication skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
