Claims Resolution Specialist

About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team at Intact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of automobile total loss claims.
- Analyze information, determine liability, and review damage assessments.
- Validate policy details to ensure coverage.
- Identify salvage and subrogation exposure and potential.
- Interview insureds and witnesses to collect statements and settle claims within authority limits.
- Provide exceptional service to external and internal customers.
- Answer queries related to investigations and the claims process.
- Ensure timely follow-up with customers on claim status.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Telephone Adjuster, Commercial Adjuster, Total Loss Expert, or similar position.
- Valid Provincial Auto Adjustor license for Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
- Completion or working towards CIP completion.
- Strong understanding of the claims process.
- Ability to handle complex Auto Claims.
- Negotiating and conveying claim settlements within authority limits.
- Sustain a high level of performance and productivity.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered a strong asset.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
