Key Responsibilities
  • Participating in the development and production of Bell Media's channel and platform content – Entertainment, Lifestyle and Documentary Division;
  • Identifying the content projects received and keeping the various internal and external stakeholders informed of developments;
  • Supervising and approving all stages of the main content elements: pre-production, reading and approval of screenplays, viewing and follow-up with the company's various departments
  • Evaluating the quality of the content produced against a predefined mandate and vision and consumer interest, and recommending changes as needed;
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions to develop creative and innovative content in collaboration with content team members and other stakeholders;
  • Managing projects and following up on their productions with the various departments relating to their sector;
  • Working closely with the heads of TV, radio and digital content, sales, communications, marketing, technical operations and research, in order to optimize project impact, discoverability and revenues;
  • Providing administrative support to the content team.
  • Carrying out any other related tasks.
Critical Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or an equivalent field;
  • 2-3 of experience in television, more specifically in content production and/or in a programming unit;
  • Good knowledge of the Quebec television milieu and digital trends;
  • Ability to get the best from the production teams and reconcile interpersonal relationships;
  • Good listening skills and a willingness to hear out different opinions. Expresses themselves and acts with tact and diplomacy in their relationships with others and facilitates discussion.
  • Relevant experience in project management;
  • Analytical skills, autonomy, acute sense of the responsibilities and aptitudes required for teamwork;
  • Demonstrated creativity, innovation and vision in regard to content;
  • Quickness to adapt to changes, and ability to manage change with the teams;
  • Good ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines;
  • Bilingualism required:
  • In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
  • As part of the job, this person will be required to produce documents in French & English.
