Senior Architect for Healthcare Infrastructure Projects
Manage the design and implementation phase of Provincial Healthcare Infrastructure projects, overseeing programming, planning, and pre-design activities, and ensuring architectural work is complete on schedule, within budget, and adhering to quality and policies.
This is a five (5) year term position with all Build Nova Scotia benefits.
**Job Requirements:**
- Registered with the Nova Scotia Association of Architects or eligible for registration.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience working on all phases of architectural design projects, from concept to completion, and strong project management experience.
- Ability to review and red-line construction documents, and possess strong communication skills to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in Public-Private Partnerships (P3) or healthcare facilities, and ability to negotiate claims, scope changes, and other compliance and contractual items.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage the design and implementation phase of Healthcare Infrastructure projects.
- Support defining project scope and gathering information from stakeholders.
- Oversee programming, planning, and pre-design activities.
- Ensure architectural work is complete on schedule, within budget, and adhering to quality and policies.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate project risks and ensure project objectives are met.
