The Concrete Repair Technician-Laborer (CRT) plays a crucial role in executing various construction tasks, involving physical labor, utilization of hand and power tools, and collaborating with colleagues on concrete structure restoration and protection, as well as the implementation of Vector's corrosion mitigation processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare concrete surfaces for repair by operating tools such as grinders and jackhammers.
- Set up and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, and barricades at job sites.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
- Keep accurate records and complete necessary forms and reports.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of trades school is a plus.
- Prior experience with hand tools like circular saws and grinders.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Pass a drug screening (note: marijuana is not tested).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
