Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Matrix Concrete Inc o/a Matrix Concrete. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities- Concrete Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth and even finish.
- Preparation and Estimation: Prepare tenders and quotations, estimate costs and materials, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
- Operational Tasks: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete, level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, and impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all concrete work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members, instruct apprentices, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
- Physical Demands: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and perform tasks that require physical stamina and endurance.
- Team Player: Demonstrate a strong team player attitude and be willing to work collaboratively with others.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
