Matrix Concrete Inc. is seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in concrete finishing
- Fill hollows and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
- Prepare tenders and quotations for projects.
- Utilize power vibrators to effectively compact concrete.
- Ensure top surface concrete is leveled according to specified grades and depths.
- Work safely at heights, utilizing scaffolding or swing stages.
- Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
- Provide instruction and guidance to apprentices.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and various fixtures.
- Apply hardening and sealing agents to cure surfaces.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore concrete surfaces as needed.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
This position requires a strong focus on attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
