Health Care Benefits Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Health Care Benefits Assistant to join our team at WorkplaceNL. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to injured workers, employers, and internal staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders on health care services and related issues.
- Arrange travel and accommodations for injured workers and companions as needed.
- Process payments and identify overpayments for health care services or products approved by the Health Care Benefits Assistant or claim owner.
- Minimum two-year diploma in Business Administration supplemented by one year of related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and possess independent judgment, well-developed interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health, Safety & Compensation legislation, policies, and procedures is an asset.
- Broad understanding and knowledge of medical terminology and the MCP fee schedule is an asset.
