Primary Health Care Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of New Brunswickers. Horizon Health Network is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Primary Health Care Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and evaluate overall operations and programming for Health Centres
- Oversee budget and resource allocation to meet the needs of Health Centres and the population served
- Collaborate with designated leads at each Centre to ensure appropriate staffing
- Participate in the Community Advisory Committee and contribute to decision-making
- Manage staff attendance and disciplinary processes
- Ensure clinical practice guidelines and community standards are met
- Facilitate interdisciplinary team approaches to provide comprehensive care
- Support mental health population health and chronic disease prevention management practices
- Identify new service requirements and develop implementation plans
- Participate in recruitment and education processes
- Report on Health Centre activities and plans to the Director
- Complete Performance Appraisals for staff annually
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare discipline or related field
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in healthcare
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated skills in facilitating, team building, and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability in planning, budgeting, information analysis, and reporting
- Experience negotiating services and resources between programs and partners
- Demonstrated knowledge of community partners and resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
