Primary Health Care Manager

Horizon Health Network seeks a Primary Health Care Manager to oversee operations and programming for Health Centres in the Saint John area.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare discipline, a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and evaluating overall operations and programming for Health Centres
- Managing budgets and allocating resources to respond to Health Centres' needs
- Working with designated leads to ensure appropriate staffing
- Sitting on the Community Advisory Committee
- Managing staff attendance and disciplinary processes
- Ensuring clinical practice guidelines and community standards are met
- Collaborating with providers and staff to ensure access to timely care
- Facilitating interdisciplinary team approaches to provide comprehensive care
- Supporting mental health population health and chronic disease prevention management practices
- Identifying new service requirements and deficiencies in current services
- Participating in recruitment and education
- Reporting activities and completing performance appraisals
- Maintaining knowledge of community resources
- Working with Primary Health Care Access Coordinator and other programs
- Conducting team meetings and serving on Community Health Centres Needs Assessment work groups
