We are looking for a Manager, Analytics to join BrokerLink, On a Permanent (FT) Basis. And work out of our Glenmore, AB or Toronto, ON offices.

What the Role Entails:

  • Exercise strong leadership and influence at various level of the organization
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the business to lead the discovery of business insights and relevant analysis
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to establish, deploy and monitor company-wide metrics
  • Drive change by improving work processes and making substantive observations, conclusions and recommendations
  • Lead challenging, strategic projects in areas such as: customer profiling & segmentation, client retention & cross-sell, predictive analytics, business modelling and more
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts of various background, skills and competencies
  • Oversee all analytics operations to prevent or correct discrepancies and ensure quality
  • Support and collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including front line managers, human resources, finance, and technology by advancing current analytics processes.
  • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance
  • Keep abreast of industry news and trends

The Successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, business management, finance, computer science, statistics, or related discipline
  • 3+ years' experience working in the financial industry, specifically insurance
  • 5+ years' experience managing teams
  • Analytical mind and strategic thinking skills coupled with results orientation
  • Skilled communicator, ability to interact with multiple teams and departments and adapt information to fit the audience
  • Strong technical understanding to challenge the business
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing and growing environment
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, MS Access skillset.
