About the Role

CPKC is seeking a highly skilled Benefits Manager to oversee the overall design and delivery of our US Benefit programs. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of benefits administration, compliance, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benefits Program Design and Delivery: Develop and implement benefit programs that meet the needs of our US employees, including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with carriers and brokers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality services.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all benefit programs comply with relevant laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and COBRA.
  • Financial Management: Manage benefit program budgets and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely data.
  • Communication and Education: Develop and implement communication and education programs to increase employee engagement and effectiveness of our Total Rewards program.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of benefits professionals, providing training, mentorship, and coaching to foster an environment of learning and growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job-related major field of study.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, including leading and managing complex projects or programs with outcome-focused deliverables.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years of direct leadership experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
