Assurance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Assurance Manager to join our Private Client Services team at RSM US LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing timely and high-quality client service, including coordinating review engagements and compilations of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on accounting and financial reporting matters to clients and engagement teams.
  • Assess risk and design procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage multiple engagement teams and prepare end-of-engagement evaluations for staff.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of engagement teams.
  • Collaborate with Senior Managers and Partners to identify performance improvement opportunities and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships.
  • Successful record of directing and deploying staff and senior associates on multiple, simultaneous engagements.
  • Strong understanding of compilation, review, audit, and tax services, including knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
