Security Guard Full Time Cortellucci Hospital

Seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents at Cortellucci Hospital.
Job Description:- Work full-time shifts providing security patrols and response to incidents, including writing reports and investigating routine incidents.
- Respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner, displaying excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people under stress or in need of medical assistance.
- Patrol assigned area on foot, as assigned, to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.
- Watch for and report irregularities, including security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations.
- Utilize two-way radio and computer applications for communicating site activities.
- Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing rules and regulations when required.
- Offer support to any person in need, providing good customer service and responding to emergency situations involving violent individuals and injuries.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Provide security presence, including providing direction and responding to emergency situations.
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario.
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor).
- English (oral and written) fluency is a must.
- Previous experience in security, by-law, parking enforcement - considered an asset.
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
