Security Officer Full Time Cortellucci Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Officer to join our team at Cortellucci Hospital. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will work closely with our team to ensure the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol assigned area on foot to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.
- Watch for and report irregularities, including security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations.
- Utilize two-way radio and computer applications for communicating site activities.
- Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing rules and regulations when required.
- Offer support to any person in need, providing good customer service and responding to emergency situations involving violent individuals and injuries.
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario.
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor).
- English (oral and written) fluency is a must.
- Previous experience in security, by-law, parking enforcement - considered an asset.
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
