Nutrition and Food Service Supervisor required to supervise front-line employees, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure safe and efficient food service delivery in a health care setting.

About the Opportunity

The Nutrition and Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising employees, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring safe and efficient food service delivery. The successful candidate will act as an ambassador and liaison within the integrated model of Nutrition and Food Services and be a resource and leader for employees.

About You
  • Education: Nutrition post-secondary degree or completion of a recognized course in Food and Nutrition Management
  • Certifications: Journeyman Cook Certification, Advanced Food Safety Certification, and HACCP Training
  • Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in food service or clinical nutrition management or leadership and operations, preferably in a health care setting and unionized environment
  • Skills:
    • Leadership and staff management
    • Customer-focused food service operations
    • Conflict resolution and positive change management
    • Collaboration and teamwork
    • Time management and prioritization
Hours and Compensation
  • Hours: 37.5 hours bi-weekly
  • Compensation: $37.38 hourly
