The Role

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Program Officer, Leadership and Learning to join the Talent Programs team in the HR Branch. The HR Program Officer would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

Working in collaboration with the Senior Advisor, you will provide advice and guidance on policies/programs content, shape decisions and recommendations, monitor and evaluate assigned policies/programs, identify compliance or performance issues and propose actions.

You will support the ongoing development of leadership skills and capabilities and the NRC's corporate learning function. You will manage current learning programs and initiatives, such as the NRC's mentoring program. You will research best practices and make recommendations to support the implementation of new learning programs and initiatives. You will support and promote core learning programs, products, and tools that help build foundational organizational knowledge and address NRC-wide developmental needs. You will also manage the corporate function of the learning module in SuccessFactors, including managing learning content, and providing advice to learning stakeholders.

Experience
  • Experience in providing advice and guidance to managers and/or HR practitioner involving the interpretation and application of HR programs, policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Experience conducting research using a variety of data sources
  • Experience in using a human resources management system (such as SAP or SuccessFactors).
  • Experience designing and developing tools and/or approaches for broader roll-out and use by various stakeholders.

Compensation

From $87,146 to $96,865 per annum.

In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
