Job Title: Manager, Medical Training

At Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC), we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Medical Training to join our team. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary:

The Manager, Medical Training will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the delivery of human resources services to employees and management teams. This includes developing and implementing HR programs and practices, monitoring their effectiveness, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance to the Director, Human Resources on HR programs and practices.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of human resources areas, including policies and procedures, data analytics, job evaluation, total rewards, payroll, talent acquisition and retention, labour relations, performance management, and learning and development.
  • Participate in Labour Management Consultation Committee (LMCC) and contribute to collective bargaining process.
  • Manage and oversee the classification process to ensure consistency and integrity.
  • Monitor compensation program and ensure equity and consistency with market data.
  • Participate in various corporate initiatives, including working groups and committees.
Requirements:
  • Completion of university degree in human resources, commerce, business administration, industrial relations, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in human resources, with a minimum of five (5) years of people management.
  • Bilingual (English/French) C-B-C imperative.
  • Knowledge, skills, and experience in operational management of HR professionals, operational planning, and project, change, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of issues, trends, best practices, and challenges related to HR programs and services.
  • Knowledge of relevant local, provincial, and federal legislation and regulations, including collective agreements.

Employee must be able to work in a hybrid work environment with a minimum of 2 days/week in office - Ottawa, ON.
