Financial Analyst - Join Our Team and Shape the Future
At Intact, we're passionate about helping people, businesses, and society prosper in good times and be resilient in bad times. As a Financial Analyst, you'll be part of our Group FP&A team, working closely with senior management to evaluate the financial performance of our global operations.
About the Role
- Produce financial reports and perform analyses using current and historical data to support senior management's decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Investor Relations team and MD&A and planning team to assist in the quarterly earnings process.
- Support team members in executing special projects and day-to-day responsibilities.
- Understand key data sources and maintain control effectiveness of reports to ensure accuracy and provide historical views of financial/operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and manage work planning activities, coordinating stakeholder availability for quarter-end duties.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or any other analytical training.
- 3 to 5 years of finance or accounting experience.
- Working towards a CPA, CFA related designation.
- Insurance industry experience is an asset.
- Ability to interact and communicate clearly with various people at all levels of the organization.
- Bilingualism (French-English) is an asset.
- Willingness to learn, agility, and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong planning/organization skills and attention to detail.
