About the Role

The City of Cambridge is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to lead Zumba classes on a part-time casual basis. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy fitness classes that promote physical activity and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Zumba classes, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for participants
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, addressing their concerns and questions
  • Maintain relevant certifications and stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Attend scheduled training events to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or more years of experience in Group Fitness Instruction or a related field
  • Up-to-date and relevant Group Fitness (Zumba) Certifications
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong leadership qualities
  • Proven experience planning, implementing, and supervising group activities
What We Offer

The City of Cambridge offers a competitive hourly rate of $40.00 per hour. The number of hours will be dependent on the number of participants taking part in our programs, with no minimum hours associated with this position.
