Credit Analyst, Commercial Banking Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our Commercial Banking team at Scotiabank. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Client Relationship Managers in delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Deal Structuring & Credit Adjudication: Prepare credit presentations, assist with diligence and approvals, and ensure client files are complete and documented.
- Fulfilment & Funding: Coordinate with clients and internal partners to ensure loan fundings are fulfilled as per customer expectations.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Provide general support in the annual review process and other credit-related situations to maintain portfolio quality.
- Servicing: Support leadership team and Client Service Specialist with servicing, non-credit, and other servicing activities.
- Education: College/University degree or equivalent work experience.
- Skills/Work Experience: Strong commitment to excellent client service, strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and working knowledge of financial statements, credit analysis, and commercial banking processes.
Work in a standard office-based environment with non-standard hours common. No travel required.
