This Burnaby-based role offers you great benefits and a competitive salary. Our client Is looking for an on-the-ball HR Generalist to join their growing team. If you are looking to build on your HR skills, this is the role for you. You will be responsible for full cycle recruitment, onboarding and offboarding and assisting with performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment including screening candidates, conducting interviews, and preparing offers.
  • Onboard and offboard employees, assist with performance management.
  • Assists in the preparation of reports.
  • Administers HR related programs
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • knowledge of federal legislation as it pertains to human resources
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is preferred
  • CPHR designation Is preferred
  • Must have access to own vehicle as the site is not accessible by public transport
