**Capital Project Manager - Multi-Disciplinary** A senior project management role overseeing the engineering design, delivery, and supervision of capital projects for the Town's linear infrastructure capital program. **Job Description**

Under the direction of the Project Management Leader, the Capital Project Manager - Multi-Disciplinary is accountable for the engineering design, delivery, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, dispute resolution, and overall project supervision of capital projects associated with the Mulock Property and other Town capital projects.

**Key Responsibilities** * **Project Management** * Plan, execute, monitor, and control project management knowledge areas * Lead design and construction contracts, including preliminary planning, environmental assessment, and construction site management * **Engineering Design and Delivery** * Oversee engineering design, delivery, and supervision of capital projects * Ensure compliance with municipal standards, design, and construction practices * **Budgeting and Cost Control** * Prepare multi-million dollar budgets and exercise budget control * Conduct construction cost estimating and cost control * **Communication and Collaboration** * Communicate effectively with the general public, business owners, committees, contractors, consultants, staff, agencies, and other levels of government * Exercise judgment and maintain composure in demanding environments * **Technical Skills** * Proficient in computer programs, including spreadsheet applications, Microsoft Office, MS Project, J.D. Edwards, and construction management systems programs * Working knowledge of asset management software programs **Requirements** * **Education** * One of the following post-secondary qualifications: * Licensed Professional Engineer designation or eligible for membership in Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) * Architecture Degree, Licensed by the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) * Landscape Architecture Degree, designated Landscape Architect by the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) * Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Diploma and certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) * OAA Licensed Technologist with significant demonstrated experience * Equivalent combination of education and progressive experience * **Experience** * Demonstrated progressive experience at a senior level in project management and leading design and construction contracts * Extensive experience in construction cost estimating, preparing multi-million dollar budgets, and budget control * **Skills** * Excellent organizational, project management, problem-solving, report writing, communication, negotiation, collaboration, and mediation skills * Ability to work independently with minimum supervision * Valid Class "G" Driver's License in good standing with reliable vehicle
