About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Project Manager to join our team at the Canadian Mental Health Association. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our Community Care Hub project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a document management framework to ensure project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor project status and timelines, and provide regular updates to the project director and internal stakeholders.
  • Apply key project management tools, techniques, and processes to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Assist the project director in identifying and analyzing project risks, and developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including prime consultants, general contractors, and sub-contractors, to ensure the project is delivered to the required standards.
  • Manage a large volume of complex project issues, including those that impact the project's scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Ensure that relevant project documents are updated and saved in a shared location in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, construction, or a related area of study.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or certification in process with relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 or more years of related experience in construction or capital project management, preferably in a healthcare setting and/or not-for-profit organization.
