As a Manager, IT Site Support, you will be responsible for providing technical and professional leadership for the Information Technology personnel at five (5) potash sites located in Canada. This is a dynamic leadership position that works intimately with the business on strategy/priorities aligning technology to operational needs by proactively assessing and understanding business needs through the lens of innovation, to help identify and quantify areas where technology can help advance the needs of the business as we look to automate and maximize efficient mine/plant operations.
The scope of this role includes responsibility for the advancement and support of technology at our sites including end-user technology (i.e. Workstations, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers), infrastructure (i.e. LAN, WAN, server, storage, voice, video), desktop applications (i.e. Microsoft Office), security (camera and badge systems) and locally hosted applications. The scope also includes site support of some corporate hosted applications.
