Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our sales region, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Grow sales and profit margins through analyzing customer needs and developing effective sales strategies
- Prospect and onboard new customer accounts, and educate customers on our products and services
- Conduct sales presentations, including product demonstrations and promotions
- Execute sales strategies and territory management, planning a customized approach for each customer
- Perform routine inspections of customer product sections and displays, and update shelf tags
- Establish a personal relationship with customers to understand their needs and requirements
- Review weekly/monthly reports with store managers and assist with opportunities
- Minimize accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and following up on issues
- Stay aware of pricing trends within the sales territory to ensure competitive pricing
- Communicate changes in product lines or marketplaces to customers and the company
- Assist with processing merchandise returns
- Proven success in closing sales for various product lines
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Proven sales ledger travel and effective time management experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to conduct professional customer presentations
- Solutions-minded, with the ability to analyze and critically evaluate situations
- Ability to learn computer programs, systems, and new technology solutions
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Applications
- Energetic and entrepreneurial spirit
- General knowledge of food safety standards, including basic HACCP practice and cold-chain integrity
- Experience with food service, wholesale, or convenience is highly preferred
- Experience with CRM platforms, such as Sales Force, SAP, or Power BI
- 2-4 years of selling experience with retail convenience and/or foodservice products and programs
