Job Title: General Merchandise and Fashion Associate

Join our team as a General Merchandise and Fashion Associate at Walmart, where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the leadership of our General Merchandise and Fashion departments.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment, where you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with task completion, and contributing to a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner, assist with product location and purchase decisions, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Task Completion: Assist with the coordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team.
  • Merchandising: Assess the overall presentation of General Merchandise and Fashion Departments and execute merchandising display changes as required.
  • Customer Availability Process: Delegate, assist, and follow up on completion of daily tasks.
  • Scheduling: Support with scheduling as needed.
  • Associate Support: Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
  • Training and Development: Participate in the training and development of General Merchandise and Fashion Associates, and provide feedback as needed.
  • Work Environment: Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures.
