Job Description:
Our EXCEL program is seeking a qualified Group Leader to lead Before and/or After School Programs in various locations throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality. As an EXCEL Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff and providing a safe and engaging environment for students.
- Must have a minimum of one year's experience working with elementary age students
- Knowledge of recreational programming
- Must possess strong communication skills
- Have ability to work as part of a team
- High School Completion Certificate or equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of staff to provide a safe and engaging environment for students
- Develop and implement recreational programs for students
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve program goals

- Rate of pay is $18.82 per hour plus vacation pay
