JOB DESCRIPTION
You will act as the face of JAM and be a key 'on the ground' resource for leagues and programs running at Ballsports (11 Polson St in Toronto, ON).
Overall, your goals will be to:
- Ensure that all players have an exceptional experience.
- Ensure that all leagues and programs run smoothly on site.
- Facilitate operational tasks assigned by our head office team.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Acting as a liaison between Ballsports staff on site and the JAM Sports head office.
- Providing exceptional customer service on site to the players and maintaining excellent relationships on site.
- Tracking and uploading stats collected during and after games.
- Providing shift reports after each shift is completed.
- Attending all games played each night and ensuring that everything is running smoothly and supporting all groups and staff on site as required.
- Reporting the circumstances surrounding and recommending the need for any disciplinary action.
- Answering any player emails specifically about Ballsports leagues.
- Handling on-site player inquiries and issues as they arise.
- Managing Ballsports equipment on-site.
- Assist players with field setup by moving the mesh used to divide fields. Depending on field configuration, moving soccer nets to ensure a safe playing area.

Perfectly Seasoned
- You must be someone that loves soccer and knows the rules inside out. You will be the face of the league and the more soccer experience you have the better.
- We are looking for someone who has experience with planning events on every level. Someone who can clearly represent JAM to prospective businesses while adopting our fun yet professional attitude.

- Must have incredible attention to detail, be a quick learner and an eye for creating and improving systems.
- You have a logical brain, with strong pattern recognition skills. (You are probably better than average at puzzles and sudoku).

Well Spoken & Written
- It goes without saying, but we'll say it anyway. You'll need to have strong self-monitoring skills, strong public speaking skills and be able to clearly articulate.
- Knowledge of a wide variety of sports rules and formats is an asset

WORKING LOCATION
- Training will take place at the JAM head office in Toronto AND at Ballsports in Toronto, ON (11 Polson St).
- Additional training may take place remotely through online portals.
- Once trained, all of your time will be spent working on-site at Ballsports in Toronto, ON (11 Polson St).
- There may be some additional administrative work that can be done remotely from home.
EXPECTED HOURS
- Weekday shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from approximately 5pm-12am.
- Other optional shifts are available on weekends/weekdays (Friday - Monday) as well.
- You will also be able to work 3-5 additional admin hours that are flexible based on your schedule.
- Valid G driver's License is required for this role. Access to a vehicle is an asset.
COMPENSATION
- All of our Facility Coordinators earn $19 CAD per hour to start. We have created a very clear hourly increase plan that showcases how you can achieve future hourly rate increases based on the number of shifts you have worked. The increases will be reflected starting the pay period after you hit the specific shift milestone.
- Base Rate = $19 CAD
- After 50 Shifts = $20 CAD
- 100 Shifts = $21 CAD
- After 200 Shifts = $22 CAD
- After 300 Shifts = $23 CAD
- Facility Coordinators can participate in all our tournaments at no charge (please note- that to be eligible to play in a tournament for free you must have a regular shift in the current season).
