Job Title: Sourcing Manager

As a Sourcing Manager at Apotex, you will play a critical role in managing and enabling the sourcing to contract process, ensuring the acquisition of preferred, strategic third-party contract manufacturers of finished dosage forms and packaging.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will lead sourcing events, including CMO/CPO due diligence, the RFP/RFQ process, and conduct data gathering and analysis to understand the total cost of ownership (TCO). This role will deliver financial value and supply chain optimization to Apotex and our product supply network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and internal teams to identify current and new supplier capabilities to meet Apotex's needs.
  • Lead the execution of third-party supplier due diligence, ensuring Quality, Technical, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance aspects are completed by relevant functional teams.
  • Own the sourcing DD process, reviewing and improving it regularly to meet business needs.
  • Lead new commercial supply agreement/SOW creation, negotiation, escalations, and approvals for CMOs and CPOs.
  • Develop and refine 3rd party supplier contract templates and participate in their execution.
  • Take a lead role in creating, documenting, and implementing key business processes supporting sourcing and related activities.
  • Ensure personal adherence to compliance programs, including Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies, and HR policies.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Degree in a related discipline, such as science, procurement, supply chain, or engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the Pharma industry, with supplier/sourcing experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent understanding of ERP/SAP processes and master data related to supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating project activities and managing relationships.
