Job Summary

The Sourcing Manager will lead the sourcing process for contract manufacturers of finished dosage forms and packaging. This role will be responsible for managing and enabling the sourcing to contract process, as well as associated activities to acquire a pool of preferred, strategic third-party contract manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and internal teams to identify current and new supplier capabilities to meet Apotex's needs.
  • Lead the execution of third-party supplier due diligence, ensuring quality, technical, supply chain, operations, and finance aspects are completed by relevant functional teams.
  • Own the sourcing DD process, reviewing and improving it regularly to meet business needs.
  • Lead new commercial supply agreement/SOW creation, negotiation, escalations, and approvals for CMOs and CPOs.
  • Develop and refine 3rd party supplier contract templates and participate in their execution.
  • Take a lead role in creating, documenting, and implementing key business processes supporting sourcing and related activities.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Degree in a related discipline, such as science, procurement, supply chain, or engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the Pharma industry, with supplier/sourcing experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent understanding of ERP/SAP processes and master data related to supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
