General Merchandise Associate Job Description

As a General Merchandise Associate at Walmart Canada, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain store displays, and assist with stocking and sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Cover assigned areas on the sales floor, including zoning and maintaining displays.
  • Move feature merchandise to its designated area and work recovery merchandise from other areas of the store.
  • Assist with front-end coverage and communicate with other associates to ensure floor coverage.
  • Contribute to a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Stock merchandise, downstock if necessary, and apply product protection when required.
