About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Advisor to join our team at Intact. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our mainframe infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and administer z/OS systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Secure mainframe accesses and configure RACF to ensure secure access to sensitive data.
  • Administer CICS environments, working collaboratively with software engineering teams.
  • Maintain mainframe storage administration, including Hitachi SAN and Luminex Tape management.
  • Identify and create advanced application monitoring using tools like ELK to improve reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, providing 24/7/365 support for critical mainframe systems.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in mainframe system administration.
  • Proven experience in authoring automation scripts for mainframe components.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Omegamon and JIRA.
  • Experience with Jenkins and Gitlab/Github.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) for candidates located in Quebec.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
