Mainframe Advisor

We're looking for a mainframe advisor to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting our mainframe infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of our business operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support and administer z/OS systems
• Secure mainframe accesses and maintain RACF
• Configure and administer z/Secure
• Maintain all components, including network definitions, security, etc.
• Support and administer CICS environment, working collaboratively with software engineering
• Help support mainframe storage administration (Hitachi SAN, Luminex Tape management)
• Identify and create advanced application monitoring (i.e., ELK) for improved reliability
• Participate in On-Call rotation (24/7/365 Operation)

Requirements:

• 10+ years of proven experience in mainframe system administration
• Experience in authoring automation scripts for mainframe components (REXX, Clist, Pannels, SAS, Assembler, COBOL)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Omegamon
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with Gitlab, Github or any other public repositories
• Bilingualism required for candidates located in Quebec
• Eligibility to work in Canada
