Your Role:

The Live in Superintendent lives and works in the community, responsible for contributing to best-in-class customer experience by performing general building maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform resident service requests and routine repairs and maintenance
  • Contribute to the longevity of building systems through preventative maintenance inspections
  • Ensure resident satisfaction through timely completion of service requests
  • Maintain and exceed product standards through reviewing and action on common area deficiencies
  • Develop excellent first impressions for customers through ensuring units are rent ready
  • Liaise with Administrators, Property Managers and Contractors to ensure quality of work and customer satisfaction
  • Document service requests and resolutions using a smartphone app
  • Complete turnover suite inspections and repairs
  • Be available to residents for general inquiries
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedule to ensure safety and security

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Ability to complete appliance repairs and routine plumbing repairs
  • Ability to operate smartphones and computer programs
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety standards
  • Ability to safely use and maintain tools of the job
  • Knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook
