Job SummaryGlobal Procurement is responsible for managing a vast portfolio of goods and services worth $1.5B, sourced from approximately 5,000 trade suppliers. Our goal is to establish a best-in-class, harmonized, and flawless Procurement process that adds value to Apotex.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve governance, efficiency, and reliability in Global Procurement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in the source-to-contract process and lead the implementation of projects.
- Manage and report Savings KPIs, providing regular insights to ensure year-over-year targets are met.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and category managers to implement projects and drive business process upgrades.
- Stay up-to-date with external benchmarks and trends to identify cost savings opportunities and drive business process improvements.
- Develop and deploy Procurement Systems at the corporate level.
- Monitor key KPIs, such as the number of active suppliers, and provide analysis and insights.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports from SAP/ARIBA and summarize in presentation format.
- Support Supplier Relationship management (SRM) programs in close collaboration with Category Managers.
- Demonstrate behaviors that align with Apotex's organizational values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies, and HR policies.
- Education: University degree or equivalent business experience in a related field, such as Business, Science, Information Systems, or Procurement/Supply Chain/Operations.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proven experience in managing complex projects, influencing stakeholders, and coordinating activities. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Procurement or a related function, with a focus on organizational and business process improvement, and experience with SAP, Ariba, and other enterprise Procurement systems.
