Job SummaryThe Global Procurement Excellence Manager is responsible for implementing best practices in procurement, ensuring efficient processes, and maximizing enterprise profitability. This role involves managing initiatives, projects, and programs to improve governance, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Manage and report savings KPIs, providing regular insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and category managers to implement projects and improve processes.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through process improvements and market intelligence.
- Design and monitor key KPIs, such as supplier performance and procurement efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, using data from SAP and Ariba systems.
- Support the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program and ensure compliance with Apotex policies and procedures.
- University degree or equivalent experience in business, science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or a related function, with a focus on process improvement and change management.
- Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, and other procurement systems, as well as MS-Office and project management tools.
