Job SummaryThe Global Procurement Excellence Manager is responsible for implementing best practices in procurement, ensuring efficient processes, and maximizing enterprise profitability. This role involves managing initiatives, projects, and programs to improve governance, increase efficiency, and achieve functional objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Manage and report savings KPIs, providing regular insights to stakeholders.
- Lead the implementation of procurement projects, collaborating with business stakeholders and category managers.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through process improvements and market intelligence.
- Design and monitor key KPIs, such as supplier performance and procurement spend.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, summarizing procurement data and insights.
- Support the development and implementation of procurement systems and tools.
- Ensure compliance with Apotex's Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies, and HR policies.
- University degree or equivalent business experience in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or a related function, with a focus on process improvement and change management.
- Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, and other enterprise procurement systems, e-Sourcing, and contract management tools.
