Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company to existing and future clients, identifying their needs and selling them the right equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct regular courtesy follow-ups with clients via phone or in-person visits.
  • Maintain a client and sales follow-up register as defined by the company.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with existing clients to retain their business.
  • Expand the assigned territory to increase the company's market share and sell equipment and machinery to new clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to clients.
  • Accurately complete all sales transaction documents.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, benefits, and features through John Deere training activities.
  • Stay informed about market trends that may impact sales.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards and policies in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Interest in starting a career in sales.
  • Passion for agriculture, business, or the industrial field.
  • Functional English language skills (an asset for serving English-speaking clients).
  • Verbal communication, active listening, understanding of client needs, persuasive, tenacious, autonomous, disciplined, and a passion for customer service.
