As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op, you will be part of our team that operates a world-class network of production, distribution, and ag retail facilities. You will support the maintenance team through the design and execution of improvement projects, work with members of the reliability team on Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessments, and Condition Based Monitoring Technology reviews, and analyze maintenance history and failure data to prioritize improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute improvement projects to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the reliability team to identify and address potential issues.
- Analyze maintenance data to inform improvement initiatives.
- Support plant engineers and trades in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work safely in an operating facility.
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and accomplish multiple tasks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
