About the Role- Perform Financial Condition Testing (FCT) processes, including model refreshment, scenario running, and enhancements.
- Contribute to Economic Capital Modelling activities, including Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) Stress Testing and Reporting.
- Assist in setting capital targets for the Enterprise.
- Support Risk Management initiatives, such as Catastrophe modelling, Aggregation/Concentration monitoring, and climate change impact assessments.
- Collaborate with Actuarial teams and external teams to solve complex problems.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and recommend changes.
- Support leadership in coaching and counselling.
- University degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Completed a minimum of 4 exams of the Casualty Actuarial Society or equivalent credentials.
- At least 3 years of full-time actuarial experience in the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of Capital modelling, FCT, and IFRS 17 is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on driving business performance.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages (Excel, VBA, SQL, etc.).
- Strong communication and presentation abilities to convey complex concepts.
