Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients to assess, intervene, and follow up on occupational performance goals, promoting healthy lifestyles, preventing illness and disability, and enhancing overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized plans for occupational therapy
  • Design and implement interventions to support clients in achieving their occupational performance goals
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and coordination
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based research to inform clinical decision-making
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding and expectations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Canadian university program or equivalent
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM) with practicing register or provisional register as an examination candidate
  • Current CPR training and certification
  • Membership in the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with diverse client populations, including those with complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
