Occupational Therapist

Shared Health is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Neurodevelopmental Services department. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and adolescents with complex multi-diagnostic issues, providing a range of interventions in a family-centered approach.
Job SummaryThe Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy assessments, establish treatment plans, and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver services in a clinic and community-based setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, knowledge of ecological systems theory, and the ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and provide recommendations
- Establish and implement occupational therapy treatment plans
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver services
- Provide family-focused treatment services to clients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba and membership in C.A.O.T.
- Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a group therapy setting
- Knowledge of ecological systems theory, culturally competent practice, and community-based mental health service delivery
