About City Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry

We are a progressive, state-of-the-art dental office seeking a highly motivated and organized Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pediatric dentists with various procedures, including surgical and non-surgical treatments
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and infection control
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and team members, providing excellent customer service
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an approved Dental Assistant program and certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
  • Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Gold
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing situations

Qualifications and Skills

  • RDA License
  • Scaling Module (Preferred)
  • Proficient in English
