About City Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry
We are a progressive, state-of-the-art dental office seeking a highly motivated and organized Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our office.
Responsibilities
- Assist pediatric dentists with various procedures, including surgical and non-surgical treatments
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and infection control
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
- Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and team members, providing excellent customer service
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved Dental Assistant program and certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Proficiency in computer software, including Gold
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
Qualifications and Skills
- RDA License
- Scaling Module (Preferred)
- Proficient in English
